New county clerk could be sworn in early
The Rock County Board will consider approving Lori Stottler as the county's clerk at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, said Josh Smith, assistant to the Rock County administrator.
The board's discussion and possible action will take place during a Q&A session with Administrator Craig Knutson in the board room at the Rock County Courthouse.
The board had planned to discuss an ad hoc committee's nomination of Stottler Thursday, Nov. 15.
Stottler was one of five finalists competing to replace Clerk Kay O'Connell, who will retire in January.
