Traffic is being rerouted on County A just outside the western Janesville city limits after a vehicle struck a utility pole near Austin Road, according to a shift supervisor at the Rock County 911 center.

The pole is down and blocking traffic, shift supervisor Brian Becker said. The Janesville Fire Department and Rock County Sheriff’s Department are on the scene, and Alliant Energy has been notified.

The call came in at 7:37 p.m. It is unknown if there are injuries.
