Assembly honors Walworth's Kikkoman company
MADISON, Wis. (AP) – The state Assembly has adopted a resolution honoring Kikkoman, maker of soy and teriyaki sauce and other condiments.
The resolution says the sauces give Wisconsinites a chance to learn about Japan’s history and traditions and contributes to the state’s cultural and economic vitality.
Kikkoman operates a production facility in Walworth on Highway 14. The company is celebrating its 50th anniversary in the U.S. market this year. The company has maintained a facility in Walworth County for 35 years, according to the Walworth County Economic Development Alliance.
The company’s U.S. headquarters are in San Francisco.
