Janesville Transit System buses will return to their normal routes today on East Court Street. The Milton Avenue regular, the Milton Avenue Nightside and the Atwood/Holmes Extra Services routes return to their scheduled routings with the official re-opening of the street today.

JTS customers also will notice a new addition to the bus service in the East Court Street corridor—a dedicated bus turnout and stop along the north side of the Rock County Courthouse in the block between Parker Drive and Parker Place.

Passengers riding to or from the courthouse will now be dropped off or picked up at the new stop. The new stop is accessible for passengers with mobility impairments and leads directly to a wheelchair-accessible entrance to the main floor of the courthouse.

In addition to the new courthouse stop, JTS also has designated bus stops in the Court Street corridor at South Main Street, Atwood Avenue, Sinclair Street and Garfield Avenue.
