The suspect in multiple burglaries in Rock and Walworth counties was apprehended Thursday in Sarasota County, Florida, Fontana police said today.

Jonathan A. Jeske, 31, of Williams Bay is a suspect in at least five October burglaries in Fontana, Williams Bay and Walworth Township, according to police.

Jeske is wanted on bail jumping charges. He posted a $1,400 bond the night of Nov. 14 after Clinton police arrested him Nov. 13 on suspicion of credit card fraud and receiving stolen property.

Walworth County authorities were unable to have a warrant authorized to have Jeske transferred to the Walworth County Jail before he posted bond in Rock County. A warrant was issued Nov. 16.

Fontana police said today they believe Walworth County has plans to extradite Jeske, but the Walworth County Sheriff's Department couldn't confirm that.

Details are forthcoming.
