JANESVILLE

One Janesville School Board incumbent said he won’t run again in the April elections.

Incumbent Todd Bailey said Wednesday he will not seek another term. He will have served about five years on the board when his term ends in April 2008.

Candidates may begin circulating nominating petitions Saturday. They must turn in their papers by Jan. 2 in order to have their names printed on the spring ballot.

Anyone interested in running for school board should call assistant board clerk Nancy Hewes, (608) 743-5056.
