New dates may be offered for teacher talks
The Janesville School District and teachers union appear to be caught in a bit of a waiting game over stalled contract talks. Their last negotiating session was September 19th. Following a closed door school board meeting Friday morning, Superintendent Tom Evert suggested new dates would be offered. JEA President Dave Parr says he is anxious to meet and is eager to learn the new dates. Otherwise, a state mediator is likely to take over.
