Monday’s warm weather sent kids outside without jackets, and a few adults even ventured out in shorts. The temperature reached 63 degrees—not a record, but awfully close. On Nov. 12, 1965, the high temperature was 65 degrees. Both of those temperatures are a far cry from Nov. 12, 1959, when people coped with 4 inches of snow. Dating back to 1929, the average high temperature for Nov. 12 is 46.9 and the low is 29.2. Today’s forecast calls for temperatures in the high 50s with lows in the mid 30s. The record temperature for today, 70 degrees, was set in 1989.
