Reward offered for alpaca slaying
The Humane Society of the United States is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the recent decapitation of a 5-day-old alpaca north of Delavan.
The Animal Defense Council has offered an additional $500, bringing the total reward to $3,000.
On Oct. 10, Tana Ward noticed one of her alpacas was missing from her home, at Willow Tan Farm on County O.
She later found the alpaca, a baby named Arianne, dead. It was decapitated and lying in the pasture.
Police determined the head was severed cleanly and are considering the case animal cruelty. Someone climbed through the fence to enter the farm, deputies said.
Anyone with information about the crime should call Walworth County Sheriff Patrol Division Commander Capt. Scott McClory at (262) 741-4400.
The county Crime Stoppers Hotline is (262) 723-COPS (2677).

I think it is absolultly ridiculous what happened to this baby alpaca. I think who ever did it should be punshished with the fullest possible fine and whatever else the sherriffs depaetment can charge them with. If you are a freind of this person and know of this please turn them in. It is the mature thing to do. This is just down right mean and uncalled for.
