More than two dozen speakers came to address the Rock County Board Wednesday night.

Most pleaded with the county supervisors to increase funding for the Developmental Disabilities Board and Human Services Department. Others shared their personal experiences to illustrate how much of a difference county services create in their lives.

The county board also received its share of thanks for funding included in the proposed 2008 budget.

All in all, the county board received about an hour and a half of public input for those areas of the budget.

The board is scheduled to vote on the budget at its next meeting November 13th.
