Groundbreaking for school project today
School district officials gather Wednesday at both Janesville Parker and Janesville Craig to celebrate the official start to the high school facilities renovations.
District spokeswoman Sheryl Miller says the date signifies one year since voters approved the $70.8 million school referendum, and two years since the school district began to educate the public about the need for renovations to the high schools.
Miller says work has already begun on the back of Craig and the front of Parker.
