JANESVILLE
Construction at Parker High School will narrow traffic on Mineral Point Avenue to one lane on Thursday and Friday. A subcontractor on the Parker expansion project will be installing water and sewer laterals for the additions being built at Parker, said Dennis Ryan, chief engineer for the city. The water and sewer mains are on the opposite side of the avenue. A single lane will be open, with two workers with flags controlling traffic. The work on Thursday morning is expected to start just after school starts, shortly after 8 a.m. Work will continue past the end of the school day and is scheduled to continue on Friday.
