JANESVILLE—Street-resurfacing will begin today and continue through Wednesday, Nov. 14. The streets affected are: North Jackson Street from Centerway to Milwaukee Street, Center Avenue from Delavan Drive to 500 feet north of State Street and West Racine Street from River Street to Center Avenue. The resurfacing activities will include a grinding and removal of a portion of the existing concrete or asphalt pavement followed by the placement of a new asphalt surface and new pavement markings. The streets will remain open to traffic during the work, but it might cause delays to a number of JTS bus routes. Curbside parking also might be prohibited during the work.
