One person was killed in a crash this morning in Geneva Township, the Town of Geneva Police said.

Two cars were involved in the head-on crash on County H north of Park Drive, said Officer Eric Anderson with the town police department. The driver of one vehicle was killed. The other driver was treated for a broken ankle.

Alcohol was a factor, and the surviving driver has been arrested, Anderson said. He declined to name the charge.

The names of those involved have not been released, Anderson said. He did not know the drivers' genders or ages.

The Walworth County Sheriff's Department is handling the accident investigation, Anderson said. A spokeswoman at the sheriff's department tonight said no one was available who had details of the crash.
