Snow advisory in effect
A snow advisory in effect from 6 am to 6 pm Friday for Rock, Green, Jefferson, and Walworth counties. The winter storm watch is no longer in effect.
Snow will spread over south central and southeast Wisconsin Friday. The snow may be moderate at times. Snow accumulations between 4 and 6 inches are likely.
A snow advisory is issued when 3 to 6 inches of accumulations are expected in 12 hours or less with winds less than 25 mph.
Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Use caution while driving.
