Winter weather advisory overnight
Holiday travelers could be in for some messy roads today and tomorrow.
A dense fog advisory continues in effect today until midnight. Between midnight and 6 a.m., Rock County will be under a winter weather advisory, said Bill Borghoff with the National Weather Service.
Rain will change to a mixture of snow and sleet after midnight, changing to all snow at about 3 a.m., Borghoff said. The county could get 2 to 4 inches of snow overnight.
Sunday, winds will pick up between 20 and 30 mph, with gusts of 45 mph. This could produce blowing snow, Borghoff said.
The winds will diminish Sunday night, and Monday and Tuesday should stay dry, he said.
