ABC Supply Mourns Loss of Founder and CEO Ken Hendricks

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Ken Hendricks, founder, chairman and chief executive officer of ABC Supply, passed away early Friday morning, December 21.

He suffered a massive head injury as a result of a fall at a construction site at his home Thursday evening and died in surgery. He was 66 years old.

"This is an enormous tragedy and a great loss to the family, associates, and the community. Right now, we are focused on working through the initial impact of this tragedy with primary focus on the Hendricks family, as we keep them in our hearts, thoughts and prayers."

Further information and funeral arrangements are pending and details will be announced at a later time.

My condolences go out to the Hendricks Family. Ken was a Champion of Champions that always reached out and touched people by his friendly personality and his generosity was truly unbelievable.

God bless the Hendricks family and all the employees. My Mom has worked for Mr. Hendricks since the 80s at the Dallas branch of ABC Supply. She was very torn up about Mr. Hendricks death, as well as all her higher ups being upset. I just want to say how sorry I am that this happened and I hope they find out why Mr. Hendricks fell. I hope the Hendricks family is able to get through this tragedy. God Bless.

What sad and shocking news! This statement was beautifully written. To the entire Hendricks family, Beloit, Janesville, ABC employees and everyone who knew Ken, my thoughts and prayers are with you today.
