An eight-year-old Milton girl is in a safe environment after police arrested her parents Wednesday afternoon.

48-year-old Jeffrey A. Wickline and 46-year-old Lisa M. Wickline were both arrested in conjunction with a search warrant executed by Milton Police and the Rock County Sheriff's SWAT team. The couple is being held in the Rock County Jail on felony charges of Causing Mental Harm to a Child, Exposing a Minor to Harmful Material, and Causing a Child to View or Listen to Sexual Activity.

Milton West Elementary School was on alert during the police activity at the couple's Madison Avenue home due to its proximity to the school.

Since this news is getting broken across articles, I'll just repeat myself:
People are innocent in this country until proven guilty regardless of what people think are facts. This is not true in most countries. I'll continue to follow the story.

You are so correct people that make their child listen to stuff like that really need to get some help big time. Children are a gift from god and let me tell you something that if someone who can not have kids wants a child and then parents like that surely do not even desrve having achildren at all. I feel very sorry for the child.

well i hope now this little girl can have a somewhat happy childhood and become a productive member of society, I feel so bad for her, I have an 8 year old daughter myself and could not imagine this happening to her, what a sad situation, her parent should never be given back custody of her!!! god bless you, sweet angel and god will be on your side!!!

My thoughts and prayers go out to this little girl. Hopefully, at the age of 8 and with alot of help from family members, friends, and professionals, she will be able to go on and lead a totally healthy and productive life. Thank heavens it was found out now....before she became an adult and gone through decades of this abuse.

I would hope that she is not their child....listing the names of the people would expose her.
