14th candidate seeks city council seat

And then there were 14.

Spencer Potter, 35, of 736 Somerset Drive, is the 14th candidate to start circulating nomination papers for Janesville City Council.

Potter is an insurance agent for Don Chapin Insurance in Janesville.

Three of seven council seats are open in the spring election. Incumbents Craig DeGarmo, Tim Wellnitz and Paul Williams are not seeking re-election.

The other candidates who have taken out papers are Jason Guernsey, Kathy Voskuil, Jeff Thomas, Kevin Bishop, K. Andreah Briarmoon, Karl Dommershausen, Richard Ellingson, David Henke, George Mark, Billy R. McCoy, Tom McDonald, Kelly O’Brien and Yuri D. Rashkin.

McCoy and McDonald already have filed their papers at the clerk’s office, said Dave Godek, deputy clerk/treasurer. Nomination papers containing 200 to 400 valid signatures are due Jan. 2.

She used to be married to a guy named "Potter" -differnt first name. This should be interesting though.
