Melvin says Gagne will probably address Mitchell Report
MILWAUKEE (AP) - Brewers general manager Doug Melvin says newly-signed closer Eric Gagne will probably address allegations made against him in the Mitchell Report.
The report accuses Gagne of receiving two shipments of human growth hormone when he pitched for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2004.
Melvin says he's talked to Gagne's agent Scott Boras and believes Gagne will address it at some point -- probably after he's had legal counsel.
Some players accused in the Mitchell Report have responded, either admitting to using HGH or denying it. No one has admitted to using steroids.
