Beloit Turner teacher contract talks back on track
The Beloit Turner Education Association is bringing two offers to its members.
Co-head negotiator Shelly Crull-Hanke says the two options the school district is offering is retirement benefits or a stipend. She is taking the school district's offer and the TEA's offer back to teachers after winter break. The school board wants a response from the TEA by January 15th.
Crull-Hanke says the two sides are able to meet with open communication during negotiations and so they will continue to negotiate before considering mediation, which she says was mentioned by the school board.
