Moves made in county board election

JANESVILLE - Six Rock County Board supervisors have filed declaration of non-candidacy in the spring election: Stephen Eager, William Agnew, Brad Adee, Charles Elliott, Wayne Moody and Neil Deupree.

New candidates have filed in all the districts except District 25, currently represented by Deupree. The 25th District includes city of Janesville Wards 15 and 16. It is just west of the Rock River and bordered by Mineral Point Avenue and Pine and Riverside Streets.

Two candidates have filed to run against Chairman Richard Ott—Nathan Nelson and Stephen Flood. Declaration of non-candidacy papers are due Friday, Dec. 21. Nomination papers are due by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2.
