Opponents plan city aquatics protest
A group of Janesville citizens opposed to the possibility of an aquatics center being built at Palmer Park are planning to hold a protest there Tuesday afternoon.
Even though City Manager Steve Sheiffer says he will not recommend building a new aquatics center at Palmer Park, the citizens are bringing their dogs to the park to protest the potential construction of an aquatics facility at the pet exercise area there.
The Janesville City Council holds a study session Wednesday night to discuss the future of aquatics in Janesville.
