JANESVILLE—A third candidate has taken out papers to run for Janesville School Board in the April elections.

He is Peter D. Severson of 1817 Wesley Ave. Severson ran unsuccessfully for school board last April. Severson is a business process analyst for the Supreme Court of Wisconsin, Consolidated Courts Automation Programs. He is no relation to current school board member DuWayne Severson.

Incumbent Kevin Murray and newcomer Tom Lemmer previously registered their intentions to run for school board.

Incumbent Todd Bailey is not seeking another term. One other incumbent’s term ends in April, that of Bill Sodemann.

Anyone interested in running for school board should call assistant board clerk Nancy Hewes at (608) 743-5056.
