At least two killed in weather related crashes
UNDATED (AP) - The snowstorm has contributed to at least two deadly crashes on southern Wisconsin highways.
A 69-year-old woman was killed about a half mile from her house in Racine County's Town of Burlington late yesterday afternoon.
Authorities say a vehicle slid into the path of a car driven by Noreen Zigmond. Both drivers were taken to Burlington Memorial. Zigmond was transferred to Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in suburban Milwaukee where she died about three hours later.
And, Rock County sheriff's deputies say slippery road conditions contributed to an accident that killed a 41-year-old Janesville woman.
Angela Stewart died after losing control of her Geo Metro in the Town of Beloit about 7:30 p.m. and colliding with another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle was not seriously injured.
