In all due respect, and in my opinion, the only idiot(s) that spoke are people like you. While mistakes were made in the prosecution of this war, the surge is working and the prospect for peace and democracy in the Middle East may finally have a chance for success. The outcry of "Bring the troops home now!", only brings comfort to the enemy, and in my opinion, borders on treason.
As we used to chant in the 60's (BTW, I marched in Washington in '68 against the Vietnam War), "Give peace a chance."
