UPDATE—Five incumbents won't run for Walworth County Board
At least five Walworth County supervisors will vacate their seats come April.
Supervisors Robert Arnold of Sugar Creek, Margaret Downing of Geneva Township, Allen Morrison of Sharon, Allan Polyock of Zenda and Joyce Ketchpaw of East Troy filed non-candidacy papers.
Each lives in a district with fellow incumbents following the board’s downsizing and redistricting.
Arnold would have been in District 3 with supervisors Ann Lohrmann, Sandra Wagie-Troemel and Art Lein.
Downing would have been in District 7 with Supervisor David Weber.
Morrison was in District 9 with Supervisor Jim Van Dreser.
Polyock had Supervisors Randy Hawkins and Pauline Parker in his would-be District 10.
Ketchpaw lives in the new District 1 with supervisors Stan Muzatko and Rick Stacey.
Ketchpaw survived an October recall against Jim Stemper, of East Troy, by garnering nearly 59 percent of the vote.
Incumbents and anyone else interested in running has until Jan. 2 to turn in nomination papers. Three candidates turned in nomination forms on Monday, the first day they could do so.

It's really too bad Walworth Co is losing five good people. I guess I can't blame them. This down sizing is going to be a mess.
