Favre love fest

By John Barry ( Contact )   October 30, 2007 - 2:32 p.m.

O.K.--as most of you have already figured out, I'm not a big Packer fan but I really like Brett Favre. That being said, I thought the Brett lovefest preceding and during Monday night's game was a bit much. It was like watching 'This Is Your Life' Brett Favre. He's not dead and he hasn't announced his retirement yet. Let the game be the story. Or maybe I'm missing the point. Let me know

What just kills me is last year the same mouths couldn't say enough negative things about him. He's washed up, should have retired, can't pull off the comeback any longer, lost his arm strength, blah, blah, blah. Now they're all back on the bandwagon and gushing about his resurgence. It's way too funny.

I have been a Packer fan for almost 50 years. the tribute to Brett was well deserved and he got even more today in the win over the Chiefs.
Go Brett!!

Oh please, Monday night football has always made a big deal of the big star. Brett deserves the ' tribute' he got and more.

your right John! that was unbelievable how they made the whole story line about Brett. I wonder if the game was fixed. they talk about Farve all night and then the game ends like that. I don't think the best story tellers could have came up with this one.
