Remember the Alamo
Will a fourth-straight season of nine wins or more be good enough for a New Year's Day Bowl game? Probably not. That loss to Illinois is going to come back and haunt the Badgers. Bucky finished fourth in the Big Ten which is likely to result in a Valermo Alamo Bowl bid in beautiful San Antonio. There are worse places to be on December 29th, but it's not a New Year's day bowl game. There's an outside chance at the Outback Bowl in Tampa Bay, but Michigan is the likely pick there with Illinois playing in the Capital One Bowl. Stay tuned

Hard to believe but Mr. Barry was wrong again, it's the outback Bowl for the Badgers! I missed your pick last Thursday against the Lions, you didn't pick that one wrong as well did you?

Even though the Badgers have the better overall record and Michigan is coming off of 2 losses, which of course includes the smackdown laid on them by Bucky, the Outback may foolishly overestimate the perceived "interest" in the retirement of Carr rather than base the invite purely on the strength of the football programs and their fans. Assuming the Outback chooses the "If its Not BCS, We Don't Go" Whine and Cheese Tailgaters from Michigan over us, well, they deserve seeing Raymond James stadium as sparsely populated as it will be on Jan. 1 (at least by those wearing Blue & Gold). May all remember this profound question/answer: How many batteries does it take to beat Michigan? Answer: 1-AA
Note: if we do get corralled in the Land of Cowboy Boots & Spurs, the Men's Hoops team plays Texas at 11 AM on 12/29 in Austin! And that, Johnny Boy, is what is called the sweet smell of a Double-Header...Road Trip Style.
GO BUCKY!

I beg to differ. They are probably going to the Outback and Michigan will go to the Alamo. Do you use the same consultant here as you do when you pick the Packers to lose every week?
