Saying goodbye to our beautiful backyard Redpolls
The Cornell Lab of Ornithology on Common Redpolls: "These small finches of the arctic tundra and boreal forest migrate erratically, and they occasionally show up in large numbers as far south as the central U.S." Redpolls have graced our Janesville, WI bird feeders all winter and some are still with us in April.
