This past week John Gillespie's Water's & Woods TV Show filmed fishing for largemouth bass utilizing drop-shotting techniques. Proof shows even in extreme hot conditions fish will bite! Fishing continues to be great for bass, bluegill and northern pike. A few walleyes have been mixed in in low-light conditions.

The Heat is On--So is the Bite!

Fishing remains excellent even with the strong blast of heat starting this past weekend. The thermocline should tighten up with the daytime temps reaching near 100 degrees. Getting out early and off the lake before 10 a.m. is the plan this week.
