Career day

Eighth-graders at Turner Middle School have been studying careers for two months.

They researched careers such as actor, surgical technician, comedian, x-ray techincian. They searched online for salary information.

They made Power Point presentations and made portfolios to take to a career fair.

Salaries versus non-salaried.

A DNR warden, a town of Beloit fire fighter, an Alliant Energy

Interested in law enforcement, policing, fire fighting, military.

Interested: orthodontist, fire fighter, DNR warden, mechanic, military, forensic scientist
