YPs head south

The next Young Professionals event is next week at the Beloit Fine Arts Incubator, whose mission is to provide resources to help emerging artists, offer community education and cultural events, and expand on the "arts center" theme. The event will feature well known photographer Chris Quillen, whose clients include Eastman Kodak, Xerox, United Way and several advertising agencies.

Here are the details:

What: Young Professionals event

When: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1

Where: Beloit Fine Arts Incubator, 520 E. Grand Ave., Beloit

Cost: $5, which includes appetizers and two drink tickets
