Play ball!

The Young Professionals Group is planning an outing to a Beloit Snappers game.

The event is planned for Friday, Aug. 21. Activities start with a picnic on the right-field deck from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, potato salad, fruit salad, chips, peanuts and beverages will be available.

The Snappers game starts at 7 p.m. Fireworks will follow the game.

Two tickets choices are available:

--$14.50 tickets include the picnic and game

--$17 tickets include the picnic with beer and the game.

Registration forms were e-mailed to young professionals who have attened previous events. Registration and payment should be sent to Beloit Snappers, Attn.: Matt Bosen, P.O. Box 855, Beloit, WI 53511.

Deadline to register is Aug. 10. Those who register by July 31 will be entered in a drawing to throw the first pitch.
