Eco-friendly nuptials

Help!

Along with being the Walworth County reporter, I'm also the "green" reporter, which means I cover stories about environmental issues and the green movement.

I'm working on a story about green weddings for May 31, and I'm hoping to put a local spin on it by talking to at least one local couple who recently had eco-friendly nuptials.

Do you know someone who bought her wedding dress secondhand? Do you know a couple that used recycled-paper announcements and invitations? Do you know a couple whose reception menu was totally organic?

If you know someone, pass their name on to me at kbunge@gazettextra.com or (608) 755-8251.

I don't know anyone foolish enough to get married, let alone have a green wedding. Being green is an every day event, not a special occasion. Someone who is really being eco-friendly in their everyday lives would probably make better eco-choices than someone who is "trying green on for size" because i'ts fashionable.

I thought the nuptials occurred AFTER the wedding.

Who would wear a green wedding dress? and when did Janesville become Madison.
