You have my vote for parent of the year.
You certainly deserve it.

So, I thought there was a curfew in Janesville? (I don't live in the city limits anymore, so I am not sure.) If my kid willfully disobeyed and went out unaccompanied, I would just as soon have the police pick him up and give him a citation (which would get paid out of his pocket, no matter how long that took) and hopefully scare the begeezus out of him so that he might think twice about doing it again. (Granted, there might be many more pressing crimes to go to, but the kid is a minor.) For those holier-than-thou people thinking that she just needs to do a better job of parenting...we don't know the whole story, and apparently she was trying to discipline him to some degree if he was grounded. We don't know if the kid weighs half again what she does that she might actually have to be afraid of him.

I vote the Bob Marley pot grinder guy was the most dangerous criminal with the most significant impact on his victim. Well done JPD!
