The blotter

By TED SULLIVAN   Thursday, April 7, 2011 - 9:11 a.m.
  • A Janesville man was charged with burglary after being suspected of breaking into a barn, possibly to steal sheep. The suspect was caught in the barn with his pants and shoes covered in manure.

  • A Footville man was ticketed for dognapping and trespassing on suspicion of stealing a dog from a Footville woman and bringing it to Janesville.

  • A woman told police she got in an argument with a teen girl. The girl flashed brass knuckles.

  • A driver was charged with his fifth drunken-driving offense after getting his pickup truck stuck in the mud. He said he had five Miller High Life beers. Definitely not living the high life.

  • A man charged with attempted battery of a peace officer is accused of throwing a fit in the Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center emergency room. He also is suspected of tossing a chair at a cop.

Man Ted, you scared me for a moment. Reading this sheep thing up till the "pants" thing and then it gets even dirtier.
The man charged with attempted battery of a peace officer probobly just got the ER bill and did what we all do when we get it in the mail. Have you seen the cost of bandaids in that place? Thanks again Ted for the humorus look inside the sinister minds of the tri-county area.
I do here-by dub Ted Sullivan "The Mechanic"
If I need a good laugh to fix my attitude, I just go see "Ted The Mechanic." There's a song about you by Deep Purple I think. Great song actually.

Janesville - a land where the men are men and the sheep are nervous!

By crossing municipal lines, that canine theft obviously violated the Dogg Act.

The complaint stated that the same farmer had sheep stolen in the recent past. The alleged burglar also could only have been covered in manure if he had been in the sheep pen. Just an FYI for more background information.
