The blotter

It does a body good

A woman called police after she returned to her boyfriend's home and got milk thrown on her.

Angry ex

A woman in Janesville made a complaint about her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend harassing her.

The ex-girlfriend was threatening to “curb stomp her.”

The new girlfriend suspected the ex-girlfriend was mad at her because she is pregnant with the man’s baby.

Bad dog

A Janesville couple found a stray pit bull late at night. They tried to put the dog in a kennel without success.

They decided to put the dog in their vehicle overnight and take it to the Rock County Humane Society in the morning.

While putting the dog in the car, the dog tried to escape, damaging the door.

While inside the vehicle overnight, the dog chewed up a seatbelt and wiring.

The dog also left bloodstains on the upholstery because it was in season.

The couple took the dog to the humane society the following morning.

The vehicle had $2,000 in damage.

The milk: Was it whole? Two percent? Skim?
Soy? Rice? Goat?

We found a stray dog, after RCHS hours, last year and called the JPD. An officer came out and he transported the animal to the humane society, where a worker met him. Just craziness to put that animal in your vehicle. Especially the size of the animal. I wouldn't put a parakeet in my vehicle overnight either.

The Humane Society does have pick-ups pretty much 24/7 In Janesville, you just call PD and they will arrange it.

Rose I think you are right if you call the police dept they are the ones who call the "on call" humane society worker to come and do a pick up.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the Humane Society *has* a 24 hour stray pick-up service. But, you can call the police for help.

**
Which girlfriend is pregnant? The new one or the old one?
**
Somehow I suspect neither of them should be around the guy, he might just have other girlfriend(s).

Swiss Chick - Watch American History X. It's when you make somebody open their mouth and put their teeth on the curb and then somebody stomps on the back of their head. Makes me wince just thinking about the scene from that movie.

RE: Dog - No kidding! And it didn't want to go in the car in the first place!!! Let it run. It might just go home. Should've tried for the kennel again.
.
Now I'm probably showing my lack of street smarts here, but what does curb stomp mean?

Hello... anybody think of calling the humane society for a abandoned dog pick up? I sure as heck wouldn't of let a unknown dog stay in my vehicle all night unsupervised. Common sense should have told them to expect some sort of dammage.
