Direct marketing

By Ann Marie Ames ( Contact )   March 25, 2008 - 3:25 p.m.

I had a nice road trip to Pinn-Oak Ridge Farms in Richmond Township this afternoon.

Steve and Darlene Pinnow taught me a lot about direct-market farming.

I'm working on a story about the production end of the growing "buy local" trend.

If anyone has any ideas to share or questions they want answered, this would be a good time to speak up.

P.S. On the way home, I passed someone moving a sprayer and planter up County A. It was a refreshing sight.
