Just want to tell the Milton School district how proud I am to have my kids in this school district. My family and I support Milton education all the way. I am happy that you all choose to stay in class and teach our kids while all the ciaos was going on up at the capital. As a parent to three students in Milton, one of the students at Northside I would like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to the personnel & bus driver for handling the incident today the way that it was handled. You were able to get all of the students transferred to safety in a structured way while allowing law enforcement to do their job. Thank you all again.

Macdaddy~You have a valid point in reference to the fact that technology can fail. Point well taken but as a parent that sees the story and does not know if their child is safe or not it was very overwhelming. I also want to thank the Northside staff for getting all of the children to a safe place in a timely matter and for not scarring the children with all of the details.

I am a parent of a child at Milton Northside. This has been a very scary incident. I had posted a comment in the other article about how I felt that the Gazette should not have posted their article until Milton had contacted all of the parents but the comments have now been disabled. The call did not go out until approx. 10:35 & the Gazette posted the story at 10:02.

I also agree that the Gazette should have held off on posting this story until all parents had been notified. I got the call from my husband while I was at work and it made me sick to my stomach. I was praying all the way to Milton Middle school that all was safe. As of right now the story that is being told about the incident is heartbreaking.I only hope that this incident was a terrible joke that was just taken to far.

My kids are also in the Milton School District and I praise the Milton teachers for their actions, they have chosen to to do their job & not close the schools while still showing their support for the protestors at a time which is not causing any problems or interfering with our childrens education. I SUPPORT EDUCATION IN MILTON.

Took my family up to Green Bay yesterday to welcome the Packers back to Lambeau Field. It was a lot of fun. The coach was holding the trophy up in front of one of the buses. A moment my three boys will always remember.
On Dental delight: Janesville office has jolly time with scraper, drill

Waterdiamond79--If you look at the picture and know anything about dentistry you will notice that the asst. doing the cleaning is indeed polishing the child's teeth. I would not go to that dental office myself but I do think that what they did is great for all of the children out there with no insurance coverage.
On Milton to kick around bullying

I agree!!! The kids who do the bullying should serve some kind of community service, maybe helping at a shelter for those less fortunate. Make the kid pay for his actions, not the parents.

Same thing almost happened to me on Craigslist. Tried to sell my sons psp. This person wanted me to send it out of the country and was trying to get my paypal information. Scary part is, he sent me a request that looked identical to paypal. I contacted paypal and they stated that they did not sent the request to me.

On New Janesville strip mall rapidly taking shape

The last thing Janesville needs is an Aspen Dental. They tend to start out with a little lower prices to get you in then will load you up with huge treatment plans. With the work being done by numerous different Dr.'s that have little to no experience. I believe they choose Janesville to open their next office due to the economy here and knowing people are dental shopping due to loosing their insurance. Please do not give these people the time of day. I personally know of an Aspen Dental office that closed right in the middle of someones treatment, after they had pre-paid for their services.
