I've been to the QS&L in Middleton a handful of times. The inside decor is car/motorcycle related which I think will go a long way in Janesville. They have good food, not just wings. They have lots of bands and bike night, etc. If they do those same things in Janesville I think it will be a big success!

Do you guys understand how the TIF districts work? The city will get the money back because the land will go up in value and they will pay taxes on it. It's just an incentive to get them there and to stay in Janesville.

How can you say in one post that we pay too much for power and then say you don't care if underground lines cost 10x as much? You clearly have no idea how the electric utility works. You should be glad that we have some of the lowest prices for power in the country.

Great news for a great dealership! My family has been customers of Burtness for many years after my parents finally got fed up with the antics at Fagan. We have never looked back and have bought many vehicles from Brian at Burtness.

I worked at Prent for 2 years as a Machine Operator. The pay was decent and the benefits were good. They give cost of living increases, have lots of company parties, etc. I only left so I could go back to school for IT which is where I'm working now. I'm making much more now than I did there, but I have a degree and certifications. If I would have stayed there, I would be making decent money I'm sure.

The job is not easy but they are not slave drivers.

These same idiots post every time there is an article about job growth. I think it's just all the jealous laid off people from GM, etc.

They always balk at non union jobs even after what happened with the plant.
