copperguy why the technical differences between CCAP and the article?
You seem like a reasonable thinking guy, and you are right on about the witch hunt. This is unprecedented insanity.
I hope the attorney devoy has is worth his salt.

I hear you copperguy and agree that these events need to make their way through the courts.
However, in the meantime I think it's improper for Metzner to be currently working as VP while not only having filed suit against this community, but also being under suspicion of a felony.

Corn if you were AT the last candidate forum you'd have seen who obeyed the rules and who did 'slash and burn' politics. That would be Kaufenberg. The woman was a train wreck - could not follow the rules Joe set! Joe asked her to stop and she argued with him!
He asked her to stop again and she wouldnt so he asked her to sit down.
Don't know that DebiO said it, but I'd AGREE that anybody who wants to sue their employer should be fired. (I say this as a business owner).
Why don't you share what would be Kaufenberg's 'plan' for this village, since you are her lapdog?
I'd venture to say that 10 employees for a village this size is too many (as questioned from someone on a previous blog), especially if they are overpriced, getting regular overtime or taking advantage of their status, not to MENTION suing the hand that feeds them.
As a resident, I am sick of being taken advantage of, and paying higher taxes and water bills, and don't tell me Kaufenberg will be a 'savior' because she won't. She will be more of the same or worse, since she's already in their pockets.

me2-not only is Kaufenberg sending memos to a select number of board members, (those that regularly vote 5-2 against McCue and Kenyon), but why is Danz charging the village for reviewing KAUFENBERG'S memos? SHE is not a board member.
In addition, Danz billed the village (on 1-26)for reviewing one of KAUFENBERG's letters to the editor of the Janesville Gazette!
Kaufenberg seems to be clearly in the pocket of the current (corrupt) 5 members of the board.
Debio is clearly onto something here, just hasn't gotten to it yet. I say to KEEP GOING.
There is underhanded stuff going on here like I never heard of before.

nowwhat someone posted earlier on another blog that he would never become chief because he couldn't pass a 'psych test'. Your thoughts on that?

Sorry, actual verbage is Danz billed the village for "reviewing correspondence regarding Epping /McLernon /Veely /Michalek depositions" on February 26.
Still, the question of whether Metzer opts to vote against himself or not is unheard of.

UNlevelheaded the police chief was here for 24 years. Good guy, no problems. Not ONE.
Then you got a weirdo village president who claims he's been the police chief for the last 20 years and is investigated for impersonating an officer. He is suing the village he WORKS for.
Yup, the police chief has been fired, But he's STILL being paid - because he was WRONGFULLY fired.
I know it's hard to understand, but sometimes local politicians are crooked and only in pursuit of their own personal gain.
Maybe you should do some investigating of your own before YOU make comments.
