On Sisters' act: Nuns bring message to Janesville

Exactly billnewbie, the nuns are looking to find common ground to form a more perfect union. Do you have proof of Democrats plotting a conspiracy to take down the Bush presidency from the day he was elected? Here's one link showing republicans plotted on the eve of Obama's inauguration to bring the country to a standsstill and take down his presidency. Feel free to post the same from Democrats about Bush.

Billnewbie, No comparison at all with George W. Bush. But point me to media that documented meetings of top Democrats plotting to use their public office to bring the U.S. economy to a standstill and take down President Bush and you might change my mind. Plain old public criticism of Bush doesn't count.

I've lived in two other cities and the cost of the sidewalk was always put on the homeowner's tax bill in full or over a five or ten year payment plan - not socialized on the backs of everyone else. The taxed enough already folks want everything for free and don't want to pay for what more than 80% of us already paid for outright or in the purchase price of the home. It's time to pay up and join reality.

alertcitizen, I found it amazing she wasn't bringing the wrath of God down upon us if you happen to be on a different path. But instead spoke about finding common ground to form a perfect union. She exemplifies exactly the opposite of what Republicans have been doing since the election of Barack Obama.

Maybe if Paul Ryan would have admitted that his budget proposal is not based in reality but on his personal remedy to the fairy tale society in Ayn Rand's novel "Atlas Shrugged," the nuns would not be trying to correct his misguided understanding of Catholicism. Love.

onelife, Ryan opened the door when he claimed his budget is based on tenets of Catholicism. Where's the separation of Church and State outrage? The nuns had nothing to do with that. What is this - some sort of Christian sharia law? He's supposed to be using a mathematical calculator and the Constitution for the government budget - not tenets of his religion. I don't blame the nuns at all for standing up for theior beliefs, but they're not a U.S. Congressman. Whatever Ryan touches turns to crap. Love.

The Catholic Church will continue to lose influence and respect with members like Paul Ryan. Ryan threw the separation of church and state under the bus. He's divided the Church and threw his religion under the bus and now Ryan's cult followers are throwing those Catholic nuns under the bus. Everything the poisonous Ryan touches turns to crap. What a total embarrassment to our community and state.
