On Report ranks Wis. No. 34 in business tax burden

Also wanted to comment on Walker the TALKERS $500 MILLION surplus for WI. Keep in mind that Walker - TWO years ago had Funding CUTS of MORE than $1 Billion dollars for our public schools. Gee - I wonder where some of the now $500 million surplus came from. Walker has no college education and does not value the importance of education for our children. Also Walker Decreased the Earned Income Tax Credits to LOW income working families who now pay a higher tax. Walker also increased the taxes on the same group of people by ending the inflationary adjustment of WI Homestead Tax credit. This is the property tax credit that is a credit on income tax forms renters & lower income people / families. Once again his target appears to be the poor and low income.

My comment is for HIGHROAD ---> THANK YOU for the comment that you made on WISLADY just reading the headline. I checked it out and thought you were correct. Walker continues to show us with his lack of jobs in WI that he is a failure. You are correct - WI continues the downward spiral to last in job creation.

On Rock County officials show off $195,000 armored vehicle

Regarding the purchase of this vehicle - GREAT JOB! Law enforcement must be prepared for the unexpected in crime today. The SAFETY for ALL of our law enforcement & citizens is so very important when fighting crime. I was very surprised to see the many negative comments being written here --> More important is we cannot put a price tag on the lives of an officer that is protecting us from the unknown dangers they face every single day. There will be a time when the Bearcat will show it is a necessity in Rock County. I have read that 90% of our largest cities already have them. Safety of our officers is very important.

Antiques are cool, but it is Best to do your research before buying any older item. If you see a collector picking up an item with disposable gloves it is because of health concerns. Most antiques are okay, but do your homework before buying.

Bush said --> on his decision to invade Iraq "hard to tell" if he would have invaded Iraq if he would have know that they had no weapons of mass destruction. He knew they had no WMD! Hope the library tells of all those that lost their life in a war that did not have to happen. Also famous for the financial collapse of our country under Bush.
