On Milton council split on administrator candidates

Hard to believe, the police chief and the administrator were friends before the chief got his job in Milton. They both have the same qualifications for the city administrators position. Something is fishy here. Did the administrator know that this job for him wasn't a long term deal and knew he could get a friend in to the same position? Once again, it's not what you know....

Look out Waunakee. Here comes a person that will help raise the taxes. How many jobs did the United Ethanol plant bring to Milton? We gave them big tax breaks. What about the storm water run off program? More money to pay for Milton residents and businesses. He surrounded himself with great yes-men. This day couldn't come soon enough for the city of Milton.

Does he sell name brand equipment? To do an actual club fit you need to see the ball flight. Hitting into a net doesn't do much. Sounds like another one of the many that does club repair and adjustment, building out of their garage or basement.

I just read the current Gazette Nov. 30th edition. It said that 1 in 10 people are related to the auto industry. That means that 9 out of 10 are not. So when the Big 3 go to Washington to plead their case, should we let 10% dictate to the 90%? Let them finally try to take care of their own mess. As a small business owner, I have to change plans and decisions everyday. Where were the workers at the G.M. plant on Monday nights when the Packers played. On occasion the plant was shut down because there weren't enough people their to continue production. I heard that from numerous G.M. employees. Take all the small businesses on Milton Avenue, they probably employ more than G.M. Help out the small guys, we are the backbone of the workforce. Do I feel bad if the Big 3 don't get their money? You take a guess. The union got them into it, now, fight your way out like a lot of us have to. As to the eighty plus something lady that said that she and her husband wouldn't know what to do if their pension was taken away, sure I feel bad for them, but there is a thing called planning.
