What happens when the company fails? The tax payers will get caught holding the bag of radio active waste and a chunk of land that needs cleaning up at the tune of millions.

On Wis. tribes complain to feds about mining bill

Posted on February 3 at 11:35 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

You can say "dig baby dig" and "who cares" but what if it was in YOUR back yard? What about the perposed lime quarry over on Klug road? It IS in their back yard so your saying just to dig without listening to the peoples concerns? The problem with this bill is it's changing the rules in place that protects ALL people of Wisconsin, just for this one company. Follow the money donated to the Walker camp and you will understand more what's going on here.

On Troubles with heating with wood

Posted on November 15 at 12:49 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

True, the outdoor wood boilers can emit alot of toxic smoke that bothers many people. With any wood fired stove, you should only stoke it with enough wood to heat what is needed with dry wood. The problem comes when you over stoke it so the boiler shuts the dampers down to minimize heat production. When that happens, you start getting the stinking, smoldering smoke that makes you gag. I burn a smaller but hotter fire in my stove only when I need heat. Most of the time you can't even see smoke from my pipe because it is burning clean.

On With bypass pending, Milton plans changes to eastside downtown

Posted on April 18 at 8:38 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

So, would Cori Olson like to bring back horse drawn buggies too? It sounds like she is living in the past. Are some of those trees they are planting, money trees? Or, is Dan Honold going to pay for some of this because his bank will benefit from it? It seems like they use tax payer money to change Milton, then, use tax payer money to try to get back where they were. Where are those money trees!!!!
