I support Scott Walker as do most people I have asked. The majority is silent, unlike the Walker-haters. Poll or no poll, he will be re-elected.

just1of: if you dont mind my asking...based on which of the facts presented do you think you made a good decision? I mean, as a member of the Parkview School Board (NOT the "Newark School Board") how was your vote cast in the best interest of everyone involved? You and your 4 cohorts are a laughing stock to other school districts. In addition, you know darn well the people in the Orfordville-Footville- Newark area are unlikely to pass such a referendum...the students if the Parkview School District, whose best interests you profess to be working toward, are now the proud owners of trailer park classrooms. Good Job!

I find it very hard to believe that School Board Members Bell, Brockwell, Jones, Knudson and Stelter are at all educated. Instead they have shown only that they are selfish, short sighted and ignorant...I would be livid if I lived in the Parkview School District...these people are incompetent and cannot be trusted to make financial decisions for the whole community without personal bias. What a mess.

Hammes for school board , I know him personnaly he has tons of integrity, open minded and fair. He will do what is right for the district as a whole. Close Newark school i cant see how anyone in their right mind would think that keeping that school open is the best for Parkview School district. Unless you are one of the hand full of parents that have kids going to that private school. These parents would rather see teachers loose their jobs than close a school. They do have excellent teachers at Newark who would still be teaching for Parkview even if school closes. IT IS A BUILDING DO WHAT IS BEST FOR ALL THE CHILDREN IN THE DISTRICT WHILE WE STILL HAVE ONE.

br549: the Red Steer rocks! The last time I was there (Novemnber) they had gotten quite pricey, but it was worth every penney. Next time you get a chance try Marty's Place North on Hwy 51 just north of town.

vatoloco...pretty sure you are wrong about him drowning in student loan debt. I'd be willing to bet the rent his education was 100% paid for. Like the rest of his family, this guy knows how to squeeze every single cent he can out of "the system."
