5.6 million people in Wisconsin and 540,000 will have signed the petition. Not even counting people that aren't old enough to vote, you "Majority" still have a slim chance of getting him out of office. Good luck with that.

I'd have to wander back to around 1990 knowing what I know now. Google, Amazon, and Dell would all be owned by me and I wouldn't be living in this sad little town reading the Gazette.

NV, you hit it right on the head. Today's kids only know Facebook, texting and on-line gaming with some occasional school mixed in. The majority of them don't need to interact with anyone, they can hide behind the internet and be anyone they want. Unfortunately this doesn't promote any type of maturity or formal social interaction. Don't get me started on how refined their English is...
On Janesville proposes new containers for garbage pickup

Same ole' people doing same ole' complaining. Get over it, things change. Other cities have been doing this type of pick-up for years. These containers will make life much easier for a lot of people. Plus they hold almost twice as much trash as is picked up now and they look better at the curb on trash day.

I don't know about Slantrax for tanning and regular movie rentals. They did have one heck of a back room though. I think the last movie I rented from them was Romancing the Bone.

I was there on Sunday. If it wasn't for the F-18's being there (they only flew one as it was), the show wouldn't have been worth going to and my tickets were $5. On a positive note, the lines to see the performers and the Navy pilots were very short. Easy to get pics and autographs.
On What’s the solution for caring for strays?

You know the first and foremost solution is to allow open-season on the vermin (C'mon, you're all thinking it). I suspect that may raise an eyebrow with the local animal rights folks, though.

Dear Mr. E.
Between your capitals, exclamation marks and your seemingly epic passion for writing, all I can picture in my head is you getting buck-wild at your keyboard, yelling at your monitor as thoughts go through that brain of yours. Flailing around in your office with arms and papers flying everywhere as if a tornado had struck your desk. All the meanwhile, wondering where you put the number for the computer repair place because the caps lock key is not only warn to a nub, but also tried to escape on numerous occasions due to abuse. My advice to you, sir...Try Decaf and get more sleep.
Regards,
Weeds

You guys are worried about them getting hit with no orange triangle when the article clearly states that they are relying on God for protection from such things.
That's like thinking you can drive your Rascal Scooter down I-90 knowing God will protect you from harm. If you're really that stupid, give it a shot, see what happens.
