If she was the pasenger, that would mean that she got out of the car on the curb side of the vehicle. How did she get hit by a mail truck as she got out of the car? Was he driving on the sidewalk? And why did the mail carrier get charged for inattentive driving when he was likely to be driving slower than 10mph in a BIG WHITE TRUCK with BRIGHT YELLOW YELLOW FLASHING LIGHTS on it, and the driver of the car pulled IN FRONT OF HIM to let her out??? Does anyone else find this lawsuit a bit over the top?
