Kudos to the teachers of Milton and to the students. As for as reading some of the entries into this blog..well it shows you can't please everyone... Why are so many people so negative? The say goes -- you use more muscle to frown then to smile :-)

Ok...there is enough shame to go around for each and every party envolved to have their fair share. What needs to be done now is that we all grow up and look at how we can work this out. Enough of us against them. We are all affected by no matter what is done. I propose we look at the fairness for one and all. We can no longer maintain the attitude of "getting all" I can from the "man". Why? Because we are the "man". The citizen the tax payer of Janesville. Please both sides come to your senses and look at the "big" picture for once. I believe if we all work at it we can get back to the era of civility for our fellow man. God bless our community. Janesville is a great place to call home.

The Gazette should limit the amount of entries a person can make. I would think three should do it. 1. To make comment. 2. To offer a rebuttal & a final one to offer a hug. Some of you folks have WAY too much time on your hands....

Why can't we just wait and when its time for the next elections you either vote for or against. This recallitis going around is nothing more then unions keeping the pot stirred and spending needless money to have extra elections. I guess since you didn't get your way you feel like your entitled to keep crying foul... Enough already.

Well here we go again. We always hear or read "our rate for______ (fill in the blank) is lower compared to similiar cities of our size. This should tell you get ready we are in line for a rate or tax increase. We have been told to conserve _______ (fill in blank) and when we do guess what... Utilities need to increase rates because consumption is down? After I read the headlines from the Gazette I scratch my head. Why? One page says we need to raise taxes, fee's etc. The other side of the page tells me how our area rates in the unemployment numbers (top 5 in state). Do some of you remember the show "Twilight Zone"?

I guess if we conserve our water useage this is what we get a rate increase (A summer of low water use). We are told to replace different plumbing fixtures so as to save water and now we get to use the money saved to pay HIGHER fees. Where does it go from here??? Alliant will be raising rates due to all the energy saving bulbs we are being instructed to buy..

What a waste of time and money. It's a shame "little Johnny and Cindy" didn't get their way so "they" are pulling this stunt... I wonder if they were this upset with our current President when he pushed through "his" health bill among other things? Or gave so much $$$ to "green" compaines that folded up after scaming the tax payers $$$.
